I started Hope Grove Microschool in my garage with four kids and zero roadmap. I grew it into a DOE-registered, Step Up ESA-accepting K-6 school on Main Street in downtown Dunedin with fifteen kids, three staff, and a 501c3. I wrote the grants, navigated the compliance, hired and fired staff, rewrote the curriculum at midnight, and answered panicked parent emails at 6am. All while my newly ex-husband called it a daycare, dropped off hours late at every single exchange, and fought with parents in the hallway. I built it anyway.
Then I niched it down to Hope Grove Girls Circle because I finally got clear on who I was meant to serve. That school is proof of concept. Not a recruitment pitch. From that work I've coached 300+ founders across all 50 states, specializing in ESA programs and founder onboarding.
